Is "No-Fault" Quicker?Contrary to myth, it isn't. And it doesn't cost less either. Deciding
to go the "no-fault" route is not some special or magical
process by which things become easier or accelerated. "No-fault" is only a ground for divorce. In today's legal system, grounds
are rarely, if ever, contested. The other issues in a case (i.e.
property division, support, custody, visitation, etc.) don't go away
because the "no-fault" label is used. The length of
time that it takes to resolve these other issues generally determines
how much a case will cost and how long it will take.
